Youth, Men, WomenTogether, having fun, laughing and learning about Jesus
Together, having fun, laughing and learning about Jesus.
Every Sunday ‘Encounter’ happens! It’s a space where we can discuss the issues of the world, and study about Jesus together where everyone’s ideas are valued and listened to! And we’d love to have you with us if you’re aged 11-14yrs.
On Wednesdays, at 6.45pm we meet as ‘The Gateway,’ a great space to come and hang out with mates, eat pizza, play some games and study Jesus and the bible with us! We would love to welcome anyone aged 11-14yrs each week so come along! A donation of £1 towards the cost of pizza is appreciated!
All volunteer leaders / helpers are DBS checked and have adopted the Safeguarding Policy of Christ Church Exmouth
4Women is a group that meets at Church once a month on a Monday evening, 7.15 for a 7.30 start. It is open to all women in the church. You are welcome to invite friends who are not part of Christ Church to the prayer course.
Our aims are:
- To encourage and affirm one another
- To feel safe and be able to share in confidence
- To nurture friendships
- To grow in the gifts and abilities that God has given us.
In the past we have looked at the women in the Bible. At the moment we are using Pete Greig's 24/7 Prayer Course to journey through the Lord’s prayer.
Monday 28th Jan: ‘Perseverance’ – Your will be done
Monday 25th Feb: ‘Listening’ – Our daily bread
Monday 1st April: ‘Warfare’ – Deliver us from evil.
You are welcome to attend as many sessions as you are able; it doesn't matter if you missed the first three!
7.15pm. Welcome, Tea/Coffee and cake.
7.30-9.00pm 15 minute video, followed by group discussion and individual/small group prayer.
